On behalf of the Croatian Society for Orthopedic Engineering "ORTHOING", we are pleased to announce the 2nd EUROPEAN CONGRESS OF BIOMEDICAL AND VETERINARY ENGINEERING - BIOMEDVETMECH, which will be held on October 18 and 19, 2024, in Zagreb, Croatia. The congress is multidisciplinary and international, and covers a wide range of scientific branches from biomedical and veterinary engineering. Combining the terms biology, human and veterinary medicine, and mechanics, the name BioMedVetMech refers to a network that brings together scientists, physicians, veterinarians, and engineers to create new ideas and advance cutting-edge research for the benefit of both people and animals. Major sessions are Surgical Engineering, Diagnostic Engineering, Disease Prevention Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Rehabilitation Engineering, Medical Specialty Engineering, Patient Care Engineering, Medical Robotics and Veterinary Engineering. Session topics include medical and veterinary technology development, product innovation, application of innovative treatment methods, technologically advanced and targeted healthcare, clinical research, knowledge transfer, and the future of biomedical and veterinary engineering.
